Joe David has been Managing Director of Elementos Limited since January 2022. Joe is a natural resources project developer, experienced in both the technical and financial aspects of bringing projects from concept into operations. Joe has held executive roles in private equity, listed and un-listed mining firms and M&A advisory. Joe is a qualified Mining Engineer, a Civil Engineer, and holds a Commerce Degree in Finance. Joe is responsible for driving Elementos’ vertically integrated tin development strategy in Spain, with the goal of establishing the EU’s only primary mine-to-metal tin supply.
A New Primary Tin Supply for Europe
Elementos is developing a Spanish mine-to-metal tin supply chain to benefit Europe and reduce it's 84% dependancy of imported tin metal. The combination of the Oropesa Tin Mine in Andlaucia (100% owned) and the downstream option over Iberian Smelting (50%) which operates the Robledollano tin smelter in Extremdura establishes a clear pathway to establishing Europe's only tin mine and one of the world's few vertically integrated mine-to-metal tin supplies and supply up to 10% of the EU's refened tin ingot demands.
